Techathlon, an event organized by IPEC (Inderprastha Engineering College,Ghaziabad). It is a code sprint-like event in which computer programmers and others involve in software development, including graphic designers, interface designers, project managers and others, often comprises of subject-matter-experts, collaborate intensively on software projects.

Dare 2 Develop is a two day development oriented event. Teams were provided with 5 topics from which they have to choose one and develop a web-application that would display that topic in a structured manner. This event make students ready for hackathons and enhance their problem solving skills.

Codepile 2.0 is competitive coding competition in which students where given 10 coding questions and they have to complete ina given time. Individual participation was allowed, top three were given certificates.

Cryptohunt 2.0 was an online treasure hunt where the participants were required to solve the given set of problems in the specified time limit. In each question, the students were required to find a key that helped them to move on to the next level.

NodeJS Workshop was to enrich the development culture in our college.Our Speaker Ashutosh Kumar introduced the students to the various nuances of JavaScript like Callback Functions and Anonymous Functions. Moving ahead he discussed the NodeJS and what are the advantages of using NodeJS, then we had a hands-on by creating a simple server using NodeJS and Express, at the end of the workshop, He answered to the various questions asked by the participants. It was an informative session, and everyone learned a lot about NodeJS from it.

Hacktoberfest Meetup was organised to promote open source culture in the college. Mr. Mehul Patel (Mozilla Reps) guided our student towards open source and taught them a lot about git and Github and shared his experience in the open source community.
